I find it hard to believe that any God, any all-loving being would hold a person's sexual alignment against them. You can say that being gay is against Christian belief according to the Bible, but guess what? If you actually read Leviticus where that quote is found, guess what else you find?

It's wrong to eat shellfish
It's wrong to eat pig.

My opinion: If you take one thing in a book of the Bible literally, you better be prepared to defend the whole thing.

Yes, homosexuals should definately have the same rights as heterosexuals. What right does anyone else had to say who someone loves.

If you are a believer in what the Bible says, it does go against God. They have the same rights on a personal level. And more rights on other levels. Workplace, hate crime, etc. They are protected by laws that most of us are not. Now, if we are talking about gay marriage, adoption rights, the right to file jointly on a tax return, I am against that. And frankly it is because the thought of two men having sex repulses me and it is something I can't get over. Sorry, just being honest. Go forth and multiply just doesn't apply in this case. Can't happen, isn't right. My opinion.

No. Homosexuals have more rights, in some respects, than heterosexuals, such as being able to use the same public restroom. I'm not saying that makes up for the whole marriage thing; just that homosexual couples do have a few advantages over heterosexual ones.

I can't speak for God, though.

To your first question, all humans have human rights, and each person's rights are limited by everyone else's rights. There is no conflict in that notion.

Regarding the second question, there are as many shades of yes and no as there are people. But it does not affect human rights.

Legal rights are where the battlelines are being drawn.

All people go against God. There is sin in all people. Homosexuals have just as much right as anyone else. 1st Amendment states "Freedom of Religion" therefore, whether or not anyone is against God, their Constitutional Rights are not to be altered, unless, of course, they have been convicted of a felony.

This is like asking if black people should have the same rights as white people should. we are all humans, and if there was a God he love you for you, not dislike you because you were born a certain way.

god has nothing to do with laws of the United States.

The constitutional law says everyone is equal, and has equal rights. Nowhere does it say "except homosexuals". So regardless of what one thinks god approves/dissapproves of....the fact remains that we are all equal under the constitution that governs this country.

I think that God created homosexuals just like He created heterosexuals, and so I believe there's no legal or religious reason to not give them full rights.

Any religious objection to homosexuality should not motivate governmental discrimination against homosexuals.

A citizen is a citizen. Period.
