There are 2 kinds of taxis in Morocco- petite and grand taxis. The petite taxis go within cities and are a different color in each city (yellow in Sale, blue in Rabat, etc...). Grand taxis go from one city or village to another. They are usually Mercedes and are required by law to carry 6 passengers , not including the driver. Is someone wants more space, they can pay for the space of an additional person (or persons, depending on how much room they want)

There are so many interesting facts in Morocco, even the cities are so close to each other, the weather is diffirent and the culture is also diffirent, and ALSO the colors are diffirent, that is why I love Morocco, Marraesh is SO diffirent than Casablanca, and both of them are so diffirent from Agadir and all are so diffirent from Fez, and ALL are diffirent from other famous cities. Dont miss your trip to Morocco, you are not gonna waste your time, you are gonna enjoy it SO very much. The hospitality of people is great, food is great, ohhh food, the food is also diffirent, hehe. Yeah everything is great, go buddy and try it, it is one of the greatest countries in the world

Wow, from where to begin, I'll give you some headlines :
Morocco is one of those countries that if you fall in love with it's charm, it'll be hard for you to go back from where you came. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Bowles).
Morocco is the place where east meets west, north meets south, modern complete tradition, you can see snow and desert sand in one day, poor don't envy the rich, warm by it's people and by it's sun, stained by corruption of some but praised by all, centuries of history and culture, we've been kings of the world at some point (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ahmad_al-Mansur), only to be under the french rule for sometime....
Morocco is best described by the late king hassan II quote : "Morocco is like a tree, it's roots are well deep in Africa, but it's branches are all over Europe"

It was the first country to recognize America as a nation and the office/living quarters of the first American Ambassador has been turned into a museum. There is a mosque in Casablanca that is said to be the biggest in the world. Some of the cities are mandated to paint the buildings and shutters a certain color such as in Essaouira where they are blue. Even the horse coaches and petit taxis are blue.
