I doubt that there are any schools that offer both options. If they do, then it has to do with the non-business classes.

Who knows the reason why most schools offer a BS in Business and some offer a BA in Science? It may be because they don't have a separate B-School and offer the degree through the College of Arts.

Employers will consider the degrees the same..

The only difference is that with a Bachelor of Arts you take more history classes and with a Bachelor of Science you take more science and math classes. The only difference between the two is 3 classes.

The "science" tag in the various degree programs denotes that the degree holder took a specified "block" of basic science courses such as, for example, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Physics, Geology, Mathematics, etc.

Arts degrees don't required require as much of these topics
