No.

Generally, an employer must give the employee time to do the jury duty.

Some employers will pay their workers for jury duty, but it's not required.

It depends on what the compaines policy and agreement with you is at the time of hiring. Some companies agree to pay a portion or all of your wages if you are called on jury duty because they know what a hardship this can be in a protracted trial. In other cases, they do not agree to pay anything and you have to be aware of their policy before you start your first day of work. Ask questions and get answers.

No---unless they have some stipulation in their employees manual that clarifies that they do...some will pay for the days you are there up to 5 days less jury pay and others..primarily gov't employees get paid no matter how long it is...It should be mandatory for employers to pay if the law says you have to go or the courts should pay your wages..or there could be professional jurors who are well versed in the law so everyone is judged equally.

your employer does not have to PAY you. They cannot FIRE you for having jury duty. There should be a poster on a conspicuous wall of your place of work explaining this...it is THE LAW.

It depends in which state you live in. Many pay -some- value of your wage. Some pay full, some pay none. All are required to give you time off, and let you return to your job after the trial is over.

You'll have to research it for the state you live in, or say which state you live in and maybe someone will goolge the info for you.

No. Some companies include it in their benefits. You cannot be fired for being required to serve. Many companies that do pay, also require you to turn over the check from the courts that you recieved for serving.
