Firewall: Zone Alarm Free, http://www.zonealarm.com Look in "Home", on their webpage and download the free version.

Antivirus: Free Avast Personal home use. http://www.avast.com You will get auto updates on the hour and comes with an excellent background scanner.

Antispyware. Excellent free antispyware, Superantispyware will find what all other miss. Plus you will get auto. updates daily. http://www.superantispyware.com

A2Squard Malware out of Austria. Download their free version and you will get excellent protection from rogue malware, trace spyware, keyloggers, rogue dialers, etc. etc.
http://www.emsisoft.com

AVG Antispyware Free. Out of Prague. If there is no free version shown on their webpage, I know for a fact that you can download their purchase version and after the evaluation period they will only remove the background. (Something that is of no use anyway). And you will have to update on a manual basis. http://www.grisoft.com or http://www.avg.com

You can only run one antivirus, or you will have serious conflict with your system. You can run three or four antispyware program without conflict if you have the resources. I run four.

Crap Cleaner: Excellent free program to clean up files you don't need and clean your registry. http://www.ccleaner.com
