Hey, well my boyfriend and I moved into together with 4 other mates almost straight away BUT we were good mates for about 6 months before that..It was only because I needed a place to crash until I found another flat but then it was working so we've stayed that way. BUT I can honestly say that as much as I love him and living with him I feel we did move too fast and do regret it a bit even though we like living together..Guess if he's a keeper you have all your lifes so no harm in taking things slowly.. As for proposals I reackon anytime after 12months depending on the relationship but I think anything sooner is just too soon personally as the start of relationships are always busy and fill of lust so not always a true testimony of long term feelings:-)

I continuously say - why purchase the cow once you may get the milk for loose? without understanding your boyfriend, the question is not user-friendly to respond to! If he frequently asks you what you want for Christmas, and hasn't, then that can be a sturdy signal. yet i imagine he might want to have proposed and then requested you to flow in. no longer any opposite direction round. He may have finished all that at Christmas if he change into going to furnish you the hoop then. in case you imagine that residing at the same time without being engaged is sending your toddlers the incorrect message, then why are you all napping there now? perchance he sees this as a demonstration that you're not any more too fussed about the engagement anymore? when you're that lower than pressure about it, i might want to element sparkling ask (or a minimum of remind him of what your needs are). relies upon on how a lot you want the fairytale concept.

We moved in together once we were husband and wife. Otherwise, that's called shacking up.
He proposed to me eight months before we got married, after dating 2 years seriously. We had already known each other a year before that.

I moved in with the man that eventually became my husband after 2 months of dating. Money was really tight for both of us at the time and since one of us usually spent the night at the other's place, it just made sense.

After about a month, I got sick with the flu and was sick for what seemed like an eternity. He took such good care of me. We were laying in bed one night and I know he thought I was asleep and he whispered, "One day, I'm going to marry you."

Not long after that, I came home from the grocery store to him sitting on the steps of the porch where he gave me a gorgeous ring and asked me to marry him. Ten months after that, we were married!

I've been told it wasn't a very romantic proposal, but it definitely surprised me and we've been married for almost 6 years!

We met 5 years ago. Began dating after 6 months, moved in together 10 months after that, got engaged a year and a half ago and got married 3 weeks ago.
When we met though he was living alone and I slept over there a lot, so it seemed like we were living together a lot longer than reality.

It's not too smart for women to shack up with men. If you're looking for a proposal, you'll NEVER get one by shacking up. You'll only be good enough to pay half the rent.
