What is men's problems with make-up. Its like we see two different things. Girls like to wear lipstick and stuff, but to me, its like men say I don't like girls who wear make-up, but then when you get dressed up you wear these types. What is mens deal with make-up? I think it looks nice if you are all made-up. Men see too much, we see not enough. Why is it like this?

men want their women to be beautiful.. men don't think about the process behind making a woman beautiful.. they don't care about what shade or type of makeup a woman is wearing.. they just want her to look pretty.. a man doesn't like the thought of a woman caking on lots of makeup to make herself pretty.. but if he doesn't know she's wearing a lot of makeup, it doesn't matter to him..

First, I think your problem is you are listening to MEN !!! LoL. Men hate women who look like clowns, that's too much make-up. Use enough make up to look like a girl, but not to the extreme of looking ridiculous. If you look in the mirror and think beautiful, then more likely you're right. If you say, I wouldn't do it with me, then you need to work on your looks a little more. Nothing's perfect though, don't ever let a man make you feel less than beautiful. You may not always be pretty, but ugly never. Unless you were in an accident, but then you'd have a reason. I sure wouldn't judge you.

It depends on the guy's mood at the time.

For instance, if he's the jealous type and/or thinks a friend of his is " better " than him, he'll want you to not look that attractive if he has his buddies over.

Then again, if he wants to flaunt you around like a trophy wife/girlfriend, he'll want you as sexy as possible, etc.

Of course, there's also the chance he'll want both. He'll want to flaunt you but not have anyone ogle you or anything because he's afraid of competition. In this case, you can't win because even if you do just what they want, you either don't do enough or do too much, and for some reason, it's YOUR fault something happens... O_o'

From a distance, about two feet or more, make-up looks better. From close up, make-up looks fake, and a little gross.

Make-up is meant to enhance or mimic the appearance of desirable features. Such as full, flushed lips. And from a little ways away, it does an excellent job. But up close, we can see that it's a cover up, and not the real naturally attractive feature.

Does that make sense? It's an instinctual thing that's hard to put into words.

My women tend to not wear make up. Natural beauty is the way to go.

If you must wear make it, wear it lightly. No one wants to be seen with a clown face chic.

It's because they fear what will happen if other guys find their other half attractive, i guess. It's like how lots of guys don't like it when their gfs go out on the town without them. Pretty pathetic IMO.

I don't request/want/make my wife wear makeup. If she wants to that's fine, if she doesn't that is also fine. I think she's pretty the way she is.

Because men don't know what goes into make-up application.
