Its been a little over 4K miles since I have last had my oil changed. Is my truck (2007)still ok to drive?

Yes, the dealer says that you only need to get an oil change every 5000 miles.

Relax, then check the owners manual. Most cars these days can manage at least 5000 miles between changes (my late wife's '91 Probe had a recommended oil change interval of 7,500 miles.) And you can always stretch it a little bit if you use better oils and filters - just don't stretch it too far!

Was it changed with synthetic oil or regular oil? If synthetic then yes its okay but dont go by what they tell u change ur oil every 3,000 miles or every 3 months . Hey its cheap insurance

Of course it's okay. It may ride a little rough but should ride smoothly after you do change the oil.

I only use MOBIL 1 5w30 synthic oil!!! And the results have been great!! I drive ALOT, and have put over 200k on each car, before trading/selling it!!
