If you are the "administrator", of your pc, and you set a password, then all you need to do is type in the password that you have set. If you are not the "administrator", then you will not be able to key in the password. (You will not know what the password is).
I have never known a "screensaver", to shut down a computer no matter what time you set your screensaver to turn on. Usually with some computers, after all the pictures in the screensaver runs out your monitor will turn black and all you have to do is move your mouse and you have your desk top back.
My screensaver will runs forever, until I move my mouse and stop the screensaver and recover my desktop.

Switch off your computer.Open the side computer casing. You should see the motherboard, near your Ram slot you will find the bios battery.Take out the battery, wait for 15 to 20 minutes and reinsert the battery. This should clear the password protection,it will never ask for password again.
