Plant a seed

Every day you plant a seed. For every seed grows a flower. For every flower there is a person. Each person will receive a flower to keep. Every day you plant a seed. From that seed it will grow into a flower. From a flower it will bloom. Every day a person will gain or lose their flower. As time goes on, the sun begins to set over the horizon. A little girl whispers in the distance. “Daddy can I have a seed.” Daddy says “sure honey, you can have a seed. The little girl plants the seed in the dirt. Each day she waters the dirt. As she sings, “Every day I will plant a seed. From that seed God will show me his light. As my little flower will grow so will I”. In the distance there is another voice saying, “give your flowers to your friends and people you care about the most. So the little girl gathers her flowers and skips down the street passing the flowers out to her friends. Then again she hears a voice in the distance.

“God has called you to spread your wings and fly. The little girls says “WAIT”!! Over in the distance the little girl see’s a flower blooming. As the voice says “I’m God, every flower you have planted you have touched many hearts, from every seed a new life has been created. As the sun settles over the horizon the daddy says “little girl have this flower as a sign from God. “ The little girl reaches her hands out far and says. “Every day I have planted a seed of my love, for every seed God has shown me a light at the end of the tunnel, as my flower has bloomed, so have I!!!

Beautiful sentiments, but you should try to put it into a more poetic form. As it is, it's a "prose poem" . . . meaning a prose format that contains poetic sentiment.

Marvelous poem.

God's Garden is not really a place where flowers grow. It is a place where people grow. It is where all of us are right now. We are always in this garden from the time we are born until the time we die. Hopefully in life we will grow in the right direction and that direction is toward God. We are all here for the same reason. We are on our way home to God. Sometimes on this trip home we will grow slowly like a flower. Other times we will have to sprout and grow wings like a bird in order to fly there. Either way it will be a rough journey and growing is usually a pretty painful process. Our lives here are not about what we are going to get. Our lives here are about what we are going to give. And not about the love we received but the love that we gave. Many did not understand the ambitious violet (this is one of the poems below). They thought she should be happy with who she was and criticized her. But she was the most magnificent and glorious flower in the whole garden. She was not concerned with who she was and didn't insist on being herself. Nor did she succumb to the pressures of becoming who others wanted her to be. She gave up her life of living safely in the shade with all the other violets and chose to become the tallest flower in the garden so that she could reach closer to God. Please scroll along safely through the garden and be careful not to step on any of the other flowers. And by all means please feed the birds. They are growing wings and need strength for the flight ahead.
