My son suffers from chronic sinusitis. Alot of his problem stems from allergies. He has been to an ENT and there are no anatomical problems to cause the sinusitus. What has helped alot is the doc has him do a saline rinse twice a day. It is a homemade rinse that the doc prefers and it really helps alot. We use a small nasal spray pump (from his empty nasacort prescription) . We fill an empty glass bottle (Snapple sized) with filtered water, add 1 - 2 tsp of kosher salt (or sea salt) and 1 tsp of baking soda. Then we pour some into the empty spray pump. He sprays 10 times in each nostril then blows his nose. He does this twice a day. It has helped to keep his nose at bay.
Hope this helps.

You should stop by your local health food and supplement store. Make sure it is not a GNC or fitness type but an actual whole foods and wellness market. They can direct you to a few different products depending on your symptoms but most likely are: DHEA supplement, and/or Progesterone cream. Both are likely to help with your problem but there is alot of information and options available. Also, everyone is different and the staff will be able to help you determine what plan is right for you. Good luck!

Usually, the first place I start is with Chaste Tree Berry, aka Vitex. It works beautifully with out running the risk of blood clots, strokes etc that you can have problems with using lab created hormones & the like. I always recommend taking the whole herb formulation as opposed to standardized extracts. They work better, there are seldom any side effects if taken as directed, and they cost less. If all you can find is standardized extracts, then follow the directions on the bottle TO THE LETTER. You have to treat those types of herbal remedies as drugs, because they are the "active ingrediant" extracted from the plant, and then conscentrated and made into a capsule. A great place to purchase online is www.mountainroseherbs.com I purchase my supplies through them. They are a reliable company to get great quality herb/herbal supplies from. Good luck!

Soy soy soy and more soy.....studies have shown that asian women have very regular cycles, almost no PMS symptoms, and breeze through menopause like a walk in the park. Reason? diets rich in soy. eat tofu, soy beans, soy sauce, drink soy milk and take black cohosh supplements. and not just here and there or for a week or two. make it a lifestyle change for best results.
