Hiya, my hubby is a pro guitar player, and has been getting acrylic nails on his main picking fingers, following the example of some of his idols (sigh).

Basically, I bought all the professional stuff from a beauty supply store so I can do the fill-ins for him. I've had mine done before, so I know the basics.. just not sure about liquid/powder consistency. Any other tips are greatly appreciated too.

i have done nails for 20 years.... put a tip on first so you have a guideline... your powder to liquid ratio should be sort of dry until you get used to the consistency this site will give you a how to guide by video... hope this helps!!!

well i tried to do this several times, and although it looks better and costs less- its only temporary. the acrylic gets rough at the edges by the cuticle because im guessing you dont have the sander tools. its worth a shot cuz the stuff is pretty cheap- but i would just recommend spending the money- as annoying as it is. good luck!
