yea i did mean sue LOL! I was flasly accused of rape and abh. they still got my clothing too and they have not let me know what going on. Its 9 days today. I have written a 4 page statement to try put me in the clear but atm these rumours are getting out of hand and need to stop. Im gettin really ill over all this , they could of atleast let me know what happening. Also my arm still hurts because they almost broke it. I cant get it checked out because the doctors are too full at the moment. I would rather help someone rather than hurt them. I got so much support at the moment people know i did not commit such offenses. If you rape somebody you got to have sex which did not happen. Aint goin to let on too much i just hope this all gets sorted out. forensics still got my clothing and i got to freeze at the mo coz i aint got my coat back off em. Blood on my clothing so they think they got a case going on which it aint because no1 gonna press charges unless the police decide to.

i did not do it but its making me ill anyway because they aint telling me what is happening and i dont want people making false accusations against me. "rape" is a life sentence but i did not have sex so it cant be classed as rape. I just wish the police will give my clothing back i am so cold at the moment and have no money apart from my Disability Allowance etc. Im just wondering if i could put in for a grant to get some new clothing. Its gonna be getting colder soon and the snow will arrive and i have nothing to keep me warm.

Unless the claims the accusations were made in a unlawful way then you have no right of appeal. There is the idea that maybe deformation of character might come into play but I would not like your chances against the police and it would probably be more trouble than it was worth!

First of all, if you say "sew", they might just laugh their eyes out and not take you seriously, as its "Sue them", not "sew" unless you dont have a needle ready to make works.
If you can prove they are wrong....easy done. If you cant, make sure they have enough evidence against you. It happens often that the police has to drop the charges against someone whether the person have committed a crime or not, due to lack of evidence.
If you think they have treated you wrongly, I would reccomend to put all you have down in writing and send that to the highest in command, and if necessary bring them to court trough a lawyer.
Good luck

uhhh, no.
and its sue not sew.
the police have the right to acuse you of whatever they want as long as they have reason to do so. they just cant arrest you without evidence or a confession.
Why is there blood on your coat? you obviously did somehting. and you dont need to use your body to rape, it can be done with a foriegn object.
i would say the police do have a case against you, given the information you have laid out, and its you who should be getting the lawyer.

I don't know that you could sue them, because the police don't make the accusations, they listen to other people's accusations and look at the evidence to see if charges should be brought.
You should think twice about suing anyone until the criminal matters are cleared up. And there's no reason to be ill about it, if you didn't do it.

If you mean sue, I would go and see a lawyer. It's really difficult to win a case against the police, but there's always a first time. Good luck!

I presume that you mean sue the Police. You will first have to make a complaint to the Professional Standards Department of your local Police Force and also write to the Force Solicitor.

Get your arm checked at A&E if it's that bad. The police didn't make the accusation. 9 days isn't long - go and get yourself a coat from a charity shop or Sally Army.

Were charges ever brought against you? Is the case still ongoing? You would have to prove the police acted without due dilgigence in accusing or prosecuting you.

It's spelled sue. Your not gonna find the answer here today. Too many at home lawyers on the net. Your gonna have to consult a lawyer of your own. That's the only advice you should take here today.

I dont know if you can sew them, perhaps a cross stitch.
have you tried knitting them?
Joking aside, if you want to sue them, you need to get in touch with a solicitor who will give you advice on how much it will cost.
If they have any evidence against you, even if unsubstantiated then you are in a loser. they are duty bound to investigate crime, and if your name comes up you have to be interviewed.
It is an unfortunate fact of life that mud sticks however. No matter how innocent you are, people will talk.
You just have to hope they solve these crimes sooner than later then you will be vindicated.
