I know its possibly my own fault but I bought bio oil etc and did intend to use it... But forgot!!!! I thought i'd gotten away with it until waking up at 33 wks and found a few on my stomach. Im now 11 days from my due date and their not too bad but are def noticable. I basically wondered when your stomach goes back to normal(ish), how long until they usually fade to silver?? And any tips on how to disguise them??

Try using Vitamin E or Palmer's Cocoa Butter Stretch Mark cream, it will help to fade the marks already there and help prevent more. I am almost 14 weeks and use the Cocoa Butter Stretch Mark cream everyday. (the tube has a pregnant lady on it and is either $3-$4 at Walmart.)

Vitamin E oil will make them less noticeable. There's nothing you can really do about it. Try to think of every one of your stretch marks as a badge of honor. Grey hairs, too. Our bodies are supposed to change over time. Our looks are not supposed to remain static. Plastic surgery is booming because people hate the way they look so much they'll do anything to change it. The media would have you believe that anyone can look like Beyonce or Michelle Pfeiffer. And most of the pictures people try to live up to have been airbrushed and digitized so much, they're not even real, and certainly not healthy!

hi hun, firstly congratulations. Secondly, dont stress too much about not using the creams. They can help keep the skin soft etc but you either get them or you dont so no amount of cream is going to stop them completely if you are prone. If they are not too bad now, start using the creams to help prevent them getting too bad and after birth they shouldnt take too long to fade, maybe a few weeks. There are creams that can improve the look and i think bio oil is one of the best to be honest so use it from now. Good luck hun x

Oil and anything else you put on will make no difference at all to you having stretch marks. I have had 3 children and used nothing and have not one mark, my friend has had 1 child, used everything and is covered in stretch marks.
