Your ancestors are your Parents, all Grandparents, all Great Grandparents and all other family members that were born of those people.
Cousins, 1st 2nd and 3rd etc, every relative that came before you in your many families (this means your Mothers family and your fathers family and their families are your ancestors.
Look into Genealogy, it is quite fascinating. I have been working on my family history for about 10 years and our family has reached 2000 in numbers.
Look at Family tree maker.com. This will give you an Idea how to start should you be interested.
Very simply, it would be all family members who were born before you.

In dictionary Ancestors of a creature are those from whom they have created. So mans creators are his/her parents. But if you go to the root you'll get Cell. In the primitive age life began with Cell consists of Gene. After some reformation Cell created a species called the Baboon. Then after some reformation homo sapience came. These homo sapience are the ancestors of we people. And Baboon are the ancestors of the homo sapience. On the top Cells or Gene are the ancestors of all.
