i got a violation email because i asked who's coming to dinner?!! do you want to know the reason they gave me? solicitation!!! can you believe that?

That's pretty dumb. Those administrators really need to check stuff they delete. I got a violation email because they said my question wasn't a question. Hello! It had a question mark at the end.

Miss Daisy, I thought I was the only one getting those crazy violations! I got 2 violations on 1 question with no reason. I have blocked certain people and now I don't seem to have a problem. Watch I will probably get another one for this answer.

Because it's a question that makes no sense. Asking who is coming to dinner is not only a question that cannot be answered by anyone. Its not even a question that anyone would want to answer even if they knew you and you told them who was coming to dinner, which would mean you already knew and didn't need to ask the question. Ask an intelligent question and it wont be a violation.

It's ridiculous and has happened to me and others before as well. From the sound of your question, you are only having a little fun with other users on here and not really asking anyone over for dinner. Don't let it bother you to much and yes it is definetly lame.

Because stupid people who come on here always report questions that don't need to be reported. Like I try asking questions that are like games like "10th Answer gets best question!!!" and I put it in Polls & and Surveys or Jokes & Riddles but they still get reported. It sucks. Not EVERY question on here has to be serious. That's why they have these kind of categories.
