Can anyone give me a history of Pinkham gloves and how rare they are?
Are there any websites for vintage glove collectors?

Yeah I did google it already, all I get is stuff on ebay and a site that offers a guide to a book. I am looking for someone with actual knowledge.

Well the thing is ebay doesn't always give the true value of items, as you can get great bargains if the person doesnt know what they are selling. They can just sell a pair of old gloves and not list an brand.......therefore it cannot be justified on ebay. Also the book just gives a history of the town Pinkham once was and there is just a small mention of it.

Try the Victoria & Albert Museum, South Kensington, London SW7 (or their website, of course). There is a huge costume collection there, and the curator of that department might be able to give you advice or book references.

If they're on Ebay, that's how you find out what they are worth. Go to "completed items" and see how much the people paid for them.

If you have a site that offers the book, it would be a good idea to get the book. Not all information is free. Sometimes people need to be paid for their research.
