YES! After so many, many years of NOT having someone special in my life (and being the Survivor of a short disaster of a marriage to an abusive, violent sociopath was directly the cause of Me NOT wanting to date or be with anyone) ...
I have been blessed with (as an Empty-Nesting Single Retiree) meeting someone special this year ..
And my resolution this New Year is going to be one where I just relax, enjoy the Relationship (no matter where it goes), and to just LIVE my LIFE the WAY I WANT TO NOW (for so many, many years I've been the one who not only PROVIDES for My children (and that louse of an ex), but also the ONLY caregiver for my children as well) ...
For down through these decades, there was ONE person I forgot about ... one very important person who selflessly gave her all towards raising her children and protecting them from the violence of the ex ... (and his abuse) ---
That FORGOTTEN person is ... ME!
So ... it is high time that I care about ME and take care of MY SELF .. to explore what would (finally) let me be HAPPY and ENJOY what I've worked so hard for and Earned ... and ...
To enjoy good friends more, my family more (especially since we are now getting all older) ... and to (maybe) have in my life a caring, loving, and stable relationship with another!

it is too early, will start planning for new year resolution/plans in the last week of dec.

i really want to spend time with my dad as it has been long scince ive even seen him...hes in dubai....i really want to spend time with him and go for family get togethers.....and my resolution is that i want to enjoy life more than i do now....lol
