Mornin' hun...as I'm medically trained, I would strongly advise you to take the day off, relax and look after yourself....the work will still be there when you get back! :)

No. It's your own fault that you procrastinated. Plus, if you miss a midterm, then most schools call your house to actually see where you are. If the school lets your mom know you're not doing well in Biology, then your faking is up. You're only going to get in deeper trouble, and be even more stressed with studying. You made a mistake, and now you have to pay your duties for it. Get of Y! Answers, and study next time.

Best to show up and be sent home. It looks like you are a true company gal that way. I had to come to work today to set an example to the kids that partying at a concert for 12 hours on a Sunday is no excuse to miss school. I do not however plan on being productive in any capacity. Love you doll...sent some mean email in your honor.

I'm like that too, but if it's going to make you feel worse, get a doctors excuse and take it to em. if they fire you, take em to court an OWN them..
I'm gving my 2 weeks notice today, too much junk at work and I'm too old for immature crap. So I'm VERY sick(actually nerves as well) of the BS and I'm going to leave for my best ^_^
but for me to do this, things must be pretty bad because I'm normally a patient and happy go lucky person.

If you are asking yourself this then you are obviously sick enough to stay home otherwise you would just go without even thinking. Stay home. Have some "me time".

I worked the same job for 14 years and only missed when I had surgery....was late once when we had an ice storm...
Now I miss when I don't feel so hot..
but, it's a different set of circumstances now..

In all the years of working I have only been sick 1 full day. Usually one lung has to be exposed out of my nostrils to take off.

It all depends on how many sick days I have left. I prefer to go to work sick and save my sick time for when I am sick of work and need some R & R .

as long as you are not feeling well its OK not to go to work but call Ur office and tell them about the situation...
in other cases of a strict job they will ask u for a medical description on proving that u were sick.....
or if u have any chronic disease present them with a medical description...

I'm the same way, I hate calling in...but you need to take care of yourself; your job, the office, the whatever, will make it one day without you, and I know that's hard to believe but it's true...(I have to give myself these talks).
