If you've ever read my Q&A, then you know i am rather fair and non-judgmental in my opinions, especially on religion BUT i do speak my opinion, AND i have a right to. It's freedom of speech. (But i am not mean, or forceful).

Why would some idiot who's never read any of my Q&A, and of whom i have never answered a Question of, send me angry hate mail this morning?
This person doesnt know me, AND whats funny is i've never answered a question of his!
. who is he? and why is he so ignorant and close-minded with his beliefs? I've never answered a question of his.... so where would this biased ignorant opinion of his come from?

On a public forum.... do we not have a right to freedom of speech? provided we stay within the guidelines of the rules?

What the heck?

I agree with everything you said. If people dont like what you have to say that doesnt give them the right to threaten or report you. I am having the same problem.. violation after violation...
I hope they understand and back off...
You have always been sweet and a great contact.
Good luck!

Ya know....I just don't get it with ppl these days. NO MATTER WHERE U TURN...there is someone stirring up trouble.

I have my 360 which I haven't participated on in MOONNNTTTTSSSSSS b/c of all the drama. It's so dang sad....even there you can't have a group of "YOUR FRIENDS" without someone, that has nothing better to do, but to go around and be rude and hurtful.

***Someone mentioned changing your settings*** so that you can't receive emails. This too has it's pro's and con's.
YES, before doing so, you can send your email addy to those you KNOW are FRIENDLY CONTACTS.
But what if someone reads your profile and thinks "hey this sounds like a cool person" or "they enjoy your internet personality". Or "they just simply got a big kick outta an answer or question you posted". OR like myself, I'm a HUGE animal lover and when I see an icon with an animal I'm drawn to emailing them about their pet". (I'd have MY BOY's pic as mine...but I have yet to figure that out since my 360 is not connected to this Y! Profile)

BLOCKING EMAILS WILL BLOCK ALL THE FRIENDLY PPL ALSO!! IF YOU RECEIVE A HATE MAIL THEN ***BLOCK*** THE SENDER IN YOUR EMAIL! ALSO ***BLOCK*** THEM AS A Y! ANSWERS CONTACT.
Why isolate yourself from all the GOOD PEOPLE on "Y!Answers" b/c of the few that aren't?!?! DON'T run and hide!!!

I KNOW IT ISN'T FAIR...I'VE SHARED THE SAME FEELING WITH Y! 360 when "someone" started drama and turned me in for a violation....WHEN I CLEARLY HAD ***NONE***, and received the "Y! Warning" about closing my 360 and email account. I don't think Y! looks into these "claimed violations" clearly enough, which I can **COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND** since they are bomb-barded with them!!! I'm disabled and my communication to the "out-side world" is via the internet. If my email account had been closed I would have been devastated! Which ONLY would HAVE MADE my illness go into a tail spin!!! I was ENOUGH of a WRECK when I received the false violation.

"FREEDOM OF SPEECH"...now let’s go there! (Or maybe “I” SHOULDN’t...lol) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Bill_of_Rights (The 10 amendments)
Being a member of the NRA I’m having much difficulty with our Government's “WANT” to change: Amendment II: Of the United States Constitution’s Bill of Rights declares a well-regulated militia as "being necessary to the security of a free State" and prohibits infringement of "the right of the people to keep and bear arms." They “WANT” to remove “THE PEOPLE”. This is not the only fear our Government casts upon me!!!

OK...sorry, I just had to direct our “Bill of Rights” to a change that I know will cause catastrophic events!!!
I wouldn’t doubt that I receive a “Y! Violation” because of “MY OPINIONS”. But I am an opinionated person and my TONGUE HAS BLED **MANY** TIMES FROM BITTING HERE ON Y! ANSWERS FOR THE DISRESPECT PEOPLE HAVE SHOWN TOWARDS OTHERS!!! I HAVE NEVER LASHED OUT...BUT MY TONGUE SURE HAS HURT ALOT!

Dang...another one of my speeches...lol!!! Well if anyone knows me here, they know that I go into much detail with my answers.

NOW FOR YOU.....JUST LET THIS BLOW OVER NO MATTER HOW AGONIZING IT IS. “DON’T LET OTHERS GET THE BEST OF YOU”....”SHINE AND THOSE AROUND YOU WILL ALSO!!!”

As my BEST FRIEND of 15 years (that passed away recently due to a freak accident) always said to me:
~ Carry on Bravely ~ (R.I.P. Tom)
***P.S. PLEASE "DO NOT" COPY ¤MY APHORISM¤ AS IT CARRIES VERY DEEP MEANING TO ME...THANK YOU!

You get this when you have an email set up on yahoo. I'm sorry this happened to you and I certainly know how it feels as I stated my opinions nicely on immigration and political forums and got several very hateful emails that I did not appreciate unprovoked and undeserved all because they disagreed with me. You simply have some people on here with no respect and childish. It's up to you about keeping or dropping the email function on here. I dropped mine because of this very reason.

I was actually thinking this morning that they should rename the site Yahoo Question's and Opinion's. I got a violation today for no reason, just block him from your profile.

that stinks. I am sorry that happened. You have every right to ask whatever you like. He is ignorant obviously because of his upbringing and lack of education. Keep asking and answering and try to ignore the rude ones.
