I think his policies are asinine. An isolationist country can not stand, and that is what he supports (whether he admits it or not). He is not even close to a "true" republican - then again, not many of the candidates are - but he comes across as a genuine fool to me.

Huckabee '08!

I think most Republicans do not like Ron Paul, he is honest and straight forward. He will REALLY shrink government and give the people more freedom. Republicans don't like that.

If given the chance, I will vote for Ron Paul, if he is not nominated, I will vote for Barack Obama, if he is nominated.

No president gets everything he wants.

He seems like the ideal candidate, he espouses all our values and is conservative where it counts. He is a great guy who would be the best President. Conversely, we can't believe how many people are considering voting for the 911 RINO from New York. We fear the bastardization of our party, we don't understand why Mr. G is the leader when many good conservatives (like Paul and Huck) stand behind. We know Ron is the *only one* not lying to us. But sadly many people would rather hear a pleasant lie than the truth.

I think he's fantastic.. the republican party has traditionally been the anti-war/less government party, but it's come so far from it's original platform.. nice to finally see a true conservative running..

finally there is a candiate who doesn't lie to me, or just plain doesn't answer a question. he doesn't beat around the bush - him'n & haw'n. he tells it to you straight, and his integrity is impeccable.

whether he's Mr. Smith (goes to Washington), Mr. Magoo, or a re-incarnated Founding Father, one things for certain:

he's #1 in this soldier's book.
