i did see a motel called the "No-Tell Motel on Oracle dr in tuscon az. It featured hourly rates and wa wa beds. This is true and not made up, I still have a picture of the marquee sign.

what you are really looking for is a "day rate" not an hourly rate. best bet is to look at the more up scale hotels at airports its a common request for business travelers with long lay overs

I've never heard if that...no. If you stay in the room for one hour or one day, the room is still dirty and has to be serviced. Same amount of work to clean.

yes, usually the "no-tell motel" varieties...you know, the kind that offer "3 hour nap" rates.....not anyplace you'd want to stay if you were just looking for sleep.
