Where would we all be without a second chance?

As a black woman, I was indeed offended by what he said - he stereotyped a whole group of women in an extremely mean spirited way. On the other hand, I have heard him say many things about other ethnic groups with little backlash. Was it a problem because the black leaders got offended and made noise?

Regardless, I'm willing to listen to what he has to say and how he says it.

I kind of find the whole thing funny, but on the other side he was WRONG. HE NEVER EVER should have said anything like that. He paid the price and now it is time to move on. He has a new job and I think he should be given the opportunity to start afresh.
And let me add was there such an outroar so to speak with the jail sentences being handed out to all of these well known actresses or actors, or political figures. If YOU or I had been found guilty of half these crimes WE'D be in jail. BUT OH wait wait he or she is well known. SOOOOO ONE day in jail is good.

Hes a racist, he should not be on radio,TV, movies, and if he wrote books, no one should buy them, it seems like anyone can say anything, and get away with it! Its time everyone protested, and Isiah Washington also, he should know better, being a Black man, he should have understood that racial slurs are not to be tolerated! I thought Isaiah Washington was so wonderful on Grey's Anatomy, but I don't think he should be hired for any work, I think racism should not be tolerated! The country now knows you can be racist and its OK, you will be hired and even if your fired, don't worry someone will hire you....its just not right!..We need to protest, and not watch or read anything done by racist people....then maybe we can have some changes in this country...and I mean not only Blacks and Jews, but no one should be bad mouthing gay people or fat people, or any one that doesn't fit in to what you think people should be...not every one is a WHITE PROTESTANT STRAIGHT THIN MAN

a lot of human beings look to confuse "properly to loose speech" with the concept of "the right to be heard." He has no properly or freedom to proceed a educate, if the vendors settle on to boot him. this is in basic terms censorship if the authorities is in contact. i do not imagine Imus could were fired. What he suggested change into no better or a lot less crass than he or the different irreverent communicate educate host.

Imus is and always will be a radio icon, and justifiably so in my opinion...He made a mistake, apologised, and moved on...Many public figures have said or done worse than he did ,some paid a price some did not..People need to get over it and move on as well..

Come on. Imus' job is to be confrontational and thought provoking. He didn't say anything that alot of other people weren't thinking as well. Where is the free speech ammendment that we are so proud of. He is entitled to his opinion and we are entitled to call him up and tell him off!!!!!

Why not. Isaiah Washington is working in a new series. It seems fair to me.

It's about time. Is he offensive....sometimes....this is America and we do have "free speech" like it or not. Howard Stern is far worse and still has a job.

Maybe he has changed his ways, if he has then he deserves a second chance. If he hasn't changed, then he need to be put right back off air.
