Noooooooooo, Nen was never one of baseball's 2 best closers at anytime in his career. The only other closers that should be in the hall as of today are Rivera, Goose, and Hoffman.

Pretty much what everyone has already said. Nen was great in maybe one or two years and wasn't good for long enough to warrent a spot in the hall of fame.

Hoffman will get in because of his longevity and the fact that he's been very good in most of those years.

Rivera will get in because of the east coast bias and the fact that you always hear about him.

Le't see...he never won the Rolaids award, he led in saves just once, there are fourteen guys right now ahead of him in saves, he's got one ring (I don't believe in counting rings that much, but I am saying that he didn't get any post-season bonus), he only managed 10 years for his career, and there was probably never a time he would have been traded straight up for Eck or Rivera or even Myers.

If he gets in, they either have expanded the Hall to about 500 players or they have made a horrible mistake.

No. Nen pitched in a different time and, while quite good, did not deliver a Hall-class career performance.

Nen, seriously? his career is not good enough. Sportwriters don't like relievers anyway, so Hoffman (all time saves leader, all time games pitched-one team) and Rivera (Yankees always get elected) may not get in. Nen's not as good as those guys

In the Hall of Fame for palindromes, yes. For baseball, not so much.
