Frankly, after the recent administration, I can't see a Republican winning the next election. I think primarily due to the war, the country has shifted away from the Republican Party for now. I can't see any other Democrat beating Hilary.
But the right hates Hilary with a PASSION. If as I suspect, she does win, will we see the Right Go Berserk?

I agree there is no way a Republican can can win this time.
Guilianni:Supports gay rights, thus looses church and conservative votes.
Mccain: old man, supports the unpopular war and is seen as sympathetic to democrats and is a Bush puppet.
Romney: big time flip flopping record on just about everything.
Paul: views to liberal for Republicans.
Huckabee: Huca who???
Thomson: came in to late and is seen as not charismatics.
Repulican Party is in trouble because they are now seen as war hungry, they have now forever lost Latino vote cuz of immigration stance and Black Vote cuz of Hurricane Katrina management.
I think Hillary has it wrapped.
Only person that had shot at beating Hillary for the nomination was Al Gore but he is not running.
I personally favor Dennis K. but he is too libearal for many middle aged Americans which make up the majority of the voting block.
I also like John Edwards but I do not see him coming back since his $500 hair cut incident. He unfortunately had to be the one getting caught like Thompson and Hillary don't??
Barack cant win do to his association as having a Muslim father (I have no problem but the red states cannot tolerate this fact)
So by default Hillary will win...
Americans see her as level headed and very experienced. Plus the US economy was booming in the 90's. Ask any middle aged American R U happier now or 10 years ago and the over whelming majority will say the later.

It doesn't matter if Sen. Clinton wins or not, the far right will still go on spewing their hate speech about everyone that isn't an ultra-conservative.
I personally hate the idea of Sen. Clinton getting the Democratic nomination. Contrary to the ridiculous opinion of most right wingers, Clinton is basically a liberal Republican. She is a corporate career politician. Her beliefs change to whatever she thinks will advance her career -- and she does not give two sh**s about average people. So, I will never be voting for her if she wins the nomination.
Not only does Clinton lose a lot of loyal Democrats like myself -- but she is an easy target for the rabid right wingers. She has very high negative numbers in opinion polls (close to 50% of those polled say they have a negative opinion of her, and almost as many say they would not even consider voting for her). She is the Democrat most likely to hand the White House to the Republicans for another 4 years. That is the LAST thing that this country needs.
Bill Richardson would be an amazing candidate. Obama would be a good candidate. The rest are pretty bad.

Republicans would really like you to think so. If she is nominated then they have a decent chance to take the White House. That is why they devote a little time out of each day to sadly proclaim that no one can possibly beat Hillary Clinton. They know that if democrats can be made to believe that Hillary is an unstoppable force of nature then she will be nominated. If she is nominated then they have all of the scandals of the previous Clinton administration as well as suspicions about the Whitewater probe and her voting history as a senator to play with in a negative propaganda campaign.
The GOP has proven that they are masters of the negative campaign. Think back to Swift boat vets and push-polls against McCain or "Al Gore created the internet". They are very good at making a campaign into a choice of lesser evils.
If you look carefully you will see that the GOP is mildly attacking Obama and Edwards but they are leaving Hillary alone right now. That is because their best case scenario for the 2008 election is Hillary versus McCain or Giuliani.
If Hillary is nominated you will see the GOP and a multitude of private "concerned" citizens trash her so badly that by the election people will want her arrested.

Polls are meaningless. They have been historically innacurate. Nobody has polled me, or anyone else I know, so how can they possibly know which way the country will vote? Plus, polls are easily manipulated. If I wanted to convince people that 75% of the population was gay, I would go to San Francisco and poll 100 people. If I wanted to show that it was less than 1% gay, I would go to Iowa and poll 1000 people.
Take a close look at those polls sometime. You will notice that the margin of error can be upwards of 5-10%. Also, take a look at how many people were polled, and from where. Liberals tend to poll major cities, especially those that have been historically liberal. Conservatives tend to poll rural cities, as well as major cities that have been historically conservative.
With that said, I don't think that we will have any idea who will be the next Commander-In-Chief until the pandering and slandering gets hot late next year. This is because the centrists will be deciding this election, and they are tired of the candidates already.

Nope. She doesn't have it locked up.
She's now losing in Iowa, her lead in NH has shrunk to 7 points, and her lead nationally has declined to 9 points.
A month ago, she was leading Barack Obama by more than 20 points.
She can't hide the fact that she's a liberal communist forever!

Or, we could see you go berserk if Hillary loses.
Suicidal, homicidal, or convivial. Which of those tendency are you likely to exhibit after 2008 general election?
apathy is a by-product from repeated relational driven agenda failures, too much sugar in your coffee, and/or AlGoreristically challenged on temperature reading
