Yes, i know that people with no family at all are the most loneliest people on earth.But if you know someone near your place you just have to make them feel as if they are part of your family by politely inviting him for the xmas dinner or lunch & give him a little presents.If i were him I will be happy too.Just for x,mas to put a sunny disposition by visiting him if he is alone,if you are in doubt bring a friend & just give him some of your little plate & I think it really matter much to him not unless he is a hermit which hates people.Just to be safe ask the neighbour about the character of that person,

I think that is one of the saddest things to happen to a person. Christmas is THE day to spend with family or at least some friends who can't be with their family or have invited you over. I would seriously sit home and lay in bed and cry all day. Then there are the homeless people who don't even have a home or bed to cry in, they sit in the cold, alone, in the rain or snow or freezing cold weather. No good food. It sucks.

Any festival is lonely without family.....I know that cause I was so lonely on some festivals cause I live so far from my family. I understand Christmas as a symbol of happiness and joy...and you can not have both without your loving family.

yes, I work in a care home where a couple of the residents have no family and I can tell that they get heart broken when they see others go out or have visitors for Christmas! :-(

Oh yeah every year that I am alone! Not only am I alone, my father died on Christmas day and my mother died 2 days before; so it is my worst time of the year.

to frank with you, am not waiting Christmas to think of these people what about rest of the year we should care about them everyday we should try to help them as much as we can.
we should put our selves in their shoes.
