how do i put a towel around myself properly?

i have short hair and i cant put around my head like a tueban it just keeps falling off

Use larger towel. Lean forward. Put the towel on your head starting at the nape of your neck, wrap around your head, cross it ower at the forehead, twist the ends once and just fold them back. You can let the ends hang or you can tuck them in at the nape of your neck.
