First, the USA is not a threat to peace, as we are the ones giving billions and billions of dollars every year to defend weaker nations *cough* Israel *cough*. I will concede, however, that being in Iraq is a waste of OUR money, OUR soldiers' lives, and OUR resources.
Secondly, the whole "world community" idea is not entirely workable. For example, the ability of said world community to sanction any nation threatens that nation's sovereignty, which is what makes any nation its own. It is for reasons such as this that I believe the UN to be a parasite on the United States and something that our country should have disbanded a long time ago. After all, where does the UN suck all of its money from? The USA.

"Of course the USA has been a threat to other countries from a long time ago. The bitter truth is that it has been a big bully. The reason for this is that it's leaders had been taking some rotten, self centred decisions by even bypassing accepted international laws. This has made it a criminal in peoples eyes. Nevertheless, USA has done some good things for peace too. USA should learn to do justice in all situations without making lousy decisions which are totally wrong many times, as these have serious repercussions throughout the world sometimes. If the USA learns from its past mistakes, it can still be a very good global role model, which other countries could look up to."

The USA is obviously a threat to world peace. Just look what they've done:
Freed Europe from the Nazis
Ended WWII
Protected South Korea from North Korea for 50 years
Given jobs to people across the world
Freed Afghanistan from the Taliban
Freed Iraq from Saddam
Killed countless terrorists

Don't be ridiculous!
Perhaps if you give us your definition of "world peace" we can answer your question more accurately.
The USA feeds more than half of the world's impoverished and underdeveloped countries along with providing aids and supply to nations recovering from major natural disasters.
You don't have to say "thank you", just be appreciative.
The United States was also selected as a leader of the free world. North Korea came in dead last in the balloting.

No, the USA is responsible for freeing more countries and more poeple than any other person, nation or ethnicity in history.
The American flag should be flying from every capital in Europe and Asia, except that we gave back their sovereignity. Damn us for being so generous and freedom-loving!

the only one who can sanctioned the USA are the american people themselves thru democratic process and nobody else even the so-called world community who is supposed to united but always divided in the issues of whatever it is. thats the real oxymoron in my opinion "UNITED NATIONS".
