not feeder fish, but you could keep a school of
6 giant danios
OR
6 buenos aires tetras with your cichlids

all the others are to small for your cichlids

Hope that helps
Good luck

I'm sorry that I am not much help but I know for a fact that Tiger Barbs are fin nippers and will chase other fish to bite their fins and eventually they take out chunks.... For the mowt part though catfish are pretty peaceful and the same with sharks... I would get rid of the barb and be prepared to move the silver shark into a different tank when he gets big enough to eat the other fish(If he would, our sharks were always bottom feeders so they didn't fight with anyone) The Mollies and Platties should be fine with fish that are close to thier size. Good Luck!!!!

I've had a bristle nosed cat fish and they work really Well.

Barbs are Fin biters and this causes problems like finrot etc.

I also had a golden cat fish and they're really well behaved. I have never had problems with them, they have a really friendly personality.

I honestly never heard of a silver shark, but if they grow big, be careful.

Mollies and platties are livebearers so be prepared for babies if you keep males and females!

But from what I see it looks fine with out the aggressive fish. Remember all fish are different so don't think all fish are aggressive.

mollies and platties live well together, all are live bearer.
tiger bard have to remove.
i suggest you keep a school of tetra since feeder fish always on top, catfish always at bottom , so tetra occupy the centre aquarium.

You're working with roughly 46 gallons (180 litres) so this tank is going to be rather cramped as these fish grow into adults.

If you're going to keep African cichlids, I really wouldn't recommend trying to make this a community tank because your cichlids will injure (if not kill) any perceived threats to their territories and will eat anything they think can fit in their mouths.
