Doesn't bother me. My bank account is so overdrawn you can't take any money out of it anyway. Feel free to pay off the debt if you like though.

There are four ways to check a bank statement, online, in the bank, through the post and at an ATM machine .She can't go to the ATM because you have the card, she can't go into a bank because you have the card and she can't go online because you haven't given her the pin. With the information she has she can't access your account legally and I doubt she has the means or knows the people to do so illegally so relax. Only way she can do so is by checking the statement that comes through the post but you can stop them from being sent to your house and this can be done online... Good luck hiding your details.

Another disgrace! Far too much of OUR private information is bought and sold and some of it actually by the banks!
Yahooya - your'e wrong there i'm afraid - the latest scam will have someone ringing you saying that they are from whatever company your card is from, they already have your personal information including your date of birth and all that they have to persuade you to do is give them the three numbers printed on the back of your card. Once you have given that they can buy goods from anywhere and you won't know until you get your statement. If someone rings let them get to the point, tell them you can't find your purse and ask them to call you back. Do a 1471 get the number and call both your card provider and the police.

Not just mine, u must be having many more. We can strike a deal between us and do business together. In the event u r caught, I can assure u that I shall arrange for u a lawyer and provide legal defence and take care of ur family on a clear understanding that my name should not appear anywhere in the scandal. In the event of full exposure, u would be nowhere.

People always seem so amazed when these stories come up, the authorities do so little to prevent it and do little when it is reported, i was the victim of ID theft and fraud to the tune of £11,000, when i reported it i was told that it is not a great sum to be concerned about and that this sort of thing happens all the time, i don't think there is an answer to that. take care and good luck.

I've got my money buried in a secret location. Haven't used a bank for years. Saved me a lot of sleepless nights worrying about what banks are investing in on my behalf, spurious charges for handling my financial affairs, and fraudsters. I love cash transactions.
So, good luck to you.
This kind of rubbish is what happens when people entrust others with handling their money.

What about the people that are buying things online, if they are not using your address that is not listed with your credit card/bank info, wouldn't it be easier for them to get caught since the goods are going to a different address?

You cant do much without my card can you?
But to clone a card you need more than the account number and sort code.
