my filter is not working at all. i moved it to clean my tank, Unplugged the filter, and it stopped working.
Can anybody tell me what might be wrong with it?

You might have forgotten to refill the chamber with water or your impeller isn't correctly put into the impeller chamber

First take the inlet tube out and remove the impeller assembly. Clean the impeller and its location in the filter. Place impeller back into position and then the intake tube. Make sure the intake tube is seated properly. Add some tank water to the filter until it overflows back into the tank. Turn your filter back on. It may take a few seconds to prime.

Try making sure the intake tube is pushed firmly down into where the impeller is, if it gets pushed up at all it won't suck any water up the intake. Is it making any noise? Did you prime it?

When you plug it in do you hear any sound at all? If you plug it in and you don't hear or feel any vibration then it was shorted out and needs to be replace the motor anyways, if you hear sound or feel vibration take it apart and make sure its not jammed, and clean it really well, then make sure its put back together correctly.
