Now that people have had time to answer I thought i would throw in a few details. Although there's a large number of evidence that proves Hawaii to be a Sovereign nation to this day. I thought i would just present you with just 2 facts.

1.Simply put Hawaii was never annexed to the U.S. because a treaty of annexation never occurred. In fact, two times such a treaty was attempted and failed. The third which is said to have "annexed" Hawaii was not a treaty at all but a joint resolution. Joint resolutions have no jurisdiction beyond the boundaries of the U.S. Therefore, the annexation wasn't legal meaning statehood wasn't legal either...

2.If you dont believe this was all illegal then take a look at the 1993 apology resolution during clintons admin. It basically says it was illegal. So tell me, how can Hawaii be a legal 50th state if even our president admits its wrong. Thats like stealing a t.v. and saying "yea, i stole it it was illegal, but im not giving it back..."

go check...

Yes.
On August 21, 1959, Hawaii was admitted into the union as the 50th state. This beautiful land was annexed by the United States in 1898, three years after Queen Liliuokalani abdicated her throne. Hawaii became an official territory in 1900.

Puerto Rico and Guam are US "colonies"They have had paper agreements longer than the acts with Hawaii but are independent "country/islands" and not ready to be anexed into the US.
Hawaii was admittted to the union about 9 or 10 monthsafter Alaska. The islands did not have a total government at the time and the US was the most powerful influance (politically) on the island, thus between Japan and the US the votes were to become a state of the US.

Hawaii became a state on August 21, 1959, nearly nine months after Alaska.

what do you mean, how can you prove this? The same way you can prove the state you live in is really a state. Anyone with an 8th grade education can tell you this is a fact. What are you smoking this morning? (the same thing Joan el is..) this is a nonsensical question with no basis is fact or merit. Just ramblings of an individual obviously non sequitur

Yes, Hawaii is the 50th state in the USA. You can look in any encyclopedia or history book. It is not a matter of opinion.

Puerto Rico is probally really the 50th state but it is only officially a colony.
Why? Well the people 'are different'.
