thats what i figured... that i might beat this habit bacause i cant actually reach my nails! Will my nails grow normal underneath.. like could i get the fake nails removed wen my nails grow long enough? i heard it can make my nails weak. is there anything i can do to prevent that or atleast make it not so bad??

Congrats on the new job- I think fake nails are a wonderful idea- and bonus you wont be able to bite them either! I myself always have fake nails- i have to get them filled every 2 weeks and it usually only costs me 20 bucks!
Your own nails -will be come softer but you will not notice this unless you take the fake nails off-once the fake nails have been off for a couple days they go back to regular strengh! The only reason they get soft is because they aren't breathing-but who cares they'll look so much nicer!
Depending on the style you are going for you can determine how real or fake you want them to look-i usually have a full colour and people always ask if they are real or fake- round or square tip i very depending on how i feel!
hope this helps a little

Well I also bite my nails. Fake nails only stay on for about 1 week at teh most. And by that time I cant help but peel them off to bite my real nails. And awful habit! Maybe ayclic nails?

It was probably the best descision i ever made. fake nails are relatively cheap after you get a full set you just go back anywhere from 2-4 weeks to get a fill in. that usually only costs around 15-20 dollars. you should ask for an acrylic set. it is definitly worth it, though it does weaken your nails underneath. that is not a permanant thing though, if and when you decide to take them off you just put a little of sally hardening nail polish on it and they should make your nails strong again. they do for the most part look natural, especially if you get them on the shorter side. hope this helped you and answered all your questions! <3

Another way you can get the fake nail effect w/out looking fake is go to salon ask her to coat your natural nail with fiberglass

I think that's a great idea. It doesn't matter if you ruin them - you will get used to biting fake nails and think "eww" or "maybe I should stop now" and learn the lesson. Also you can buy more, obviously.
They can look natural unless you look really close - then you realise they're fake.
You can get fake nails that you stick on your nails. This is good because you don't have to go back to the beautician or nail pro.

I get them done every two weeks. I'm really not a fan of acrylic fake nails but my nails always break. Get them done short with a thin coat of acrylic. if you want a natural look go with a clear polish ... if you want some color ... go with a light natural looking polish.

A little bit of toe nail is fine... but I agree with you. Long nails are kinda gross.
