Just the plain, unvarnished truth . . . all the sources on that blog are from ARAB and MUSLIM sources, so I wouldn't really try to pull the old "the Palestinians are the victims" mantra . . . the reason why there's not that much sympathetic coverage of the Palestinians anymore is because now that the States, Britain, Spain, Bali, etc. have had a taste of the terrorism the Israelis have endured for the last 60 years, the Palestinians just look like the barbarians they are.

If you think the media gives Israel a free pass then apparently you haven't been playing close attention.
I have seen numerous media reports from a lot of different sources that are not flattering to Israel.
As is the case, the issue should never be about "flattery" but rather about truth and accuracy. Perspective is also important as well.
So, for example, the media may report about Israel's incursions into the Gaza but if they do not report on the context (namely that Israel is fighting against terrorist groups amid a civilian population) then the media is shirking their duty. And many times they do.
As another example, you bring up the Jewish settlements which you term as illegal... Building a couple of extra houses down an extra road in a Jewish town in which not a single Arab is displaced is NOT a threat to peace or anyone. Yet, many times that perspective is lacking from the media.
You may want to look at http://www.honestreporting.com/ for a closer look at how the media handles their reporting on Israel and the Middle East.
To "The One": Your long ramblings are riddled with inaccuracies to the point that it is actually amusing.
For example: You mention that "Orthodox Jewish people" are against Israel. As an Orthodox Jew myself, I can tell you that the truth is that the majority of Orthodox Jews are either Zionist or non Zionist (but pro Israel). Only a small minority are anti Zionist. And within that minority exists the Neturei Kartra, an extreme group who is behind the "Jews not zionists" website that ignoramuses such as yourself go for their "information". For the record, the other anti Zionists (Satmar) have disowned them.
In addition, you claim that Goldstein has a National Holiday in Israel. Please give me a source. Actually, do not bother since I know you can't because it is 100% false. As is the case, the vast majority of Jews condemn what he did (myself included). It is also fascinating that his name continues being brought up because what he did happened in March 1994 (I was actually in Israel at the time and the big headline in the paper called him a killer). That is over 13 years ago. In other words, within the span on 13 years there have been so few other "Goldsteins". On the other hand, I don't have to look 13 years back to find a terrorist incident that Hamas has committed. Keep that in mind next time you want to "show off" what you don't know.

If you had ACTUALLY researched it you would know that we didn't cut all electricity to Gaza. We limited the flow, there is a difference. It is a sanction designed to try and stop the constant barrage of MISSLES THAT THE PALESTINIANS ARE SHOOTING INTO ISRAEL ON A DAILY BASIS. How about this idea...the Palestinians want to be an independent nation, so WHY SHOULD WE HAVE TO KEEP GIVING THEM ALL OF THEIR UTILITIES? They should build their own power plants, their own water treatment plants, their own gas lines, their own hospitals. That is part of being an independent nation. But instead of spending money on that they spend it on missles and rockets to shoot at the people who give them all these things for free. As for the settlements, I am against them. It is a tenuous situation though. But why do you act like 20 houses in the middle of the desert is such a horrible thing? Most of these settlements are TINY. Don't tell me they aren't, because you've never been to one...I have. Yes, we do have prisoners that we are holding. About 10,000 does sound right. But you act like we're holding them for no reason! Has it ever occured to you that these people are being held because they were caught involved in terrorist/criminal activities? Wow, that's a novel concept isn't it. Did you know there are currently over 80,000 Mexicans in American jails??? I don't see anybody whining over that.

It's funny most American's can tell you all about the Indian's and how horrible it was for them, then they turn around and call the Palestinians "Terrorists". No the Media doesn't care, Wolf Blitzer is an Israeli citizen. Most of Hollywood, cable news etc is owned by Jewish people. Jewish people are influenced by their Rabbi's unyeilding support of Israel, and the Rabbi know's who advertises in what paper or on what show. If it is a Jewish person the Rabbi will tell them to call and complain to the News that it is being unfair, and if they print any articles that say bad things about it they will pull their advertising very quickly. I am not saying it is a "Jewish Conspiracy" but the fact is the Media is about 90% Jewish, that is Movies, TV, Cable News etc.
There is also a die hard lobby in the US of certain Christians who want Armagedon to happen so Christ will come back. They are pushing hard in support of Israel, so they can have their rapture.
So it is a synergy of a media black out, government intervention, & certain very powerful lobbys in the US that make the Palestian conflict go unheard.
I should mention that Orthodox Jewish people are against Israel because they know how to read hebrew and know that it says in the Torah and Talmud that the Jews are to never return to Israel.
Israel isn't "Just", and they know it. There have been several peace accords and the Izzys just don't want it. Israel has recently admitted in the Jerusalem post that they have staged the Hijacking of the Air France jet in 1976 and blamed it on Palestine. Israel has Bombed US owned instilations inside Egypt and tryed to blame it on Egypt. The Lavon Affair. The Israelis attacked the USS Liberty and used napalm on it, a war crime. Israel also is a welfare state the recieves double the money of any other US sponsored welfare state. Yitzak Rabin, was on the right track to peace and then a manchurian canidate stepped in and made sure that chaos could come back.
The Palestians are no angels, but what would you do when people come to occupy you? You allready offered to live in peace according to the 1947 accords. Why does Israel never keep her word? Do you remember the movie Red Dawn? When it's American's launching guerilla attacks on Soviet occupiers it is ok, but when Palestinian's launch guerilla attacks on Israeli occupiers than it is somehow not ok? That is a morale no brainer. I hope the state of Israel get's peacefuly disbanded and that the healing between Jews and Palestinians can begin.
Edit for Joe B:
"WHY SHOULD WE HAVE TO KEEP GIVING THEM ALL OF THEIR UTILITIES?"
Because like you said Joe, the Utilitys are theirs. Thou Shalt Not Steal. You shall not covet your neighbour’s house ... or anything that belongs to your neighbour. The Israeli's admit themselves that they stole everything. They take the Well's, they restric access to things that their ancestors had. They have taken the Palestinians land's, farms, & house's literally. Only to make the Palestinians work like migrants on the land their ancestors owned.
1. "We came here to a country that was populated by Arabs and we are building here a Hebrew, a Jewish state; instead of the Arab villages, Jewish villages were established. You even do not know the names of those villages, and I do not blame you because these villages no longer exist. There is not a single Jewish settlement that was not established in the place of a former Arab Village." Â Moshe Dyan, March 19, 1969, speech at the Technion in Haifa, quoted in Ha'aretz, April 4, 1969.
As far as settlements go, 20 houses in the desert is a complete exaggeration. That is a very intellectually dishonest statement and I disrespect you for it. I have seen settlements on the news that were the size of a small city. Israel has forced some of these back into Arab hand's to be fair, but they should have never been built in the first place. If you want Palestine to develop then, why doesn't Israel stop changing the boarders?
Also about the Mexican's in US jails, they are nothing like the Palestinians. According to the AP there are 670 Billboards in spanish in California saying "California, and Texas belong to Mexico", "Your in Mexico" "La Raza Revolution". Last year 10,000 Americans where killed by Mexican's in homicides and drunk driving deaths. The US was never held by Mexico and Mexico has no claim to these lands. The oldest human skeleton found in North America was a White Man, he was called the Kennewick Man. So don't tell me Europeans are invading the US. Science confirms we where here first.
Edit for subxerorock:
Actually if you watch the movie Death in Gaza, you can see that Israelis do shoot ambulances, repeatedly. This one wasn't carrying "missles" it was carrying wounded innocent children whos home had been destroyed by an Israeli helicopter gunship suspecitng that the home harboured "Terrorists". It is easy to shoot up ambulances and claim later that it was carrying 'bombs', espically if the palestinians have no voice in the press with which to disagree. Go look up Baruch Kappel Goldstein, he shot up a mosque and killed 29 people why they were kneiling down to pray. He now has a National Holiday in Israel. Is that Terrorism?

Thats very strange, because I'm always hearing about how the Israeli's are "terrorists", which truly is not the case. Ih've read reports about Palestinians carrying bombs, and missiles in Ambulances, which Israel refuses to attack because of the chance that there might be an actual injured person in there. If everyone just put down their weapons we could all live in peace!

sadly this is true, the continueing plight of the palestinians is largely ignored by all, basic human rights seem to be the taken for granted the world over, except here.but any criticism of israel and its continued flouting of international laws, and gross abuse of human rights, is construed as anti-semitism .....but like you said who really cares.
edit-joe if you had land taken away from you that had been owned, and lived, and worked on by your family for generations so some gun crazy settlers could build a shanty town surrounded with barbed wire then perhaps you might object too.

Our media is owned by Zionist, so of course they wouldn't say anything bad about Israel. It's the same with our govenment. We and Israel and Britan can do no wrong.
