Yes, but how much depends upon which IIT you mean. If you mean the Illinois Institute of Technology, MIT is infinitely much better. If you mean the Indian Institute of Technology, it does depend upon which campus, but some are quite good.

MIT is one of the most profound technological schools in the world. MIT is the Yale and Harvard of technological schools.
Its also very expensive though
