I do allow email... but can honestly say that from time to time you get a guy who gets off on sending dirty stuff or someone who disagrees with you and hounds you by sending really angry mail... some people just don't want to chat.. they just like posting answers and perhaps know that what they are posting isn't exactly the nicest thing to say.

I don't allow people to email me because not everyone likes my answers...Not everyone likes being told the truth and I actually had a stalker on here once who followed me around when I asked a question and said really mean things and then would email me. Finally I stopped asking questions and stopped allowing people to email me.
People don't always say nice things when they email you and I could care less to hear what others have to say if it's something like that just because they can't handle the truth.

I allow e-mail. I did not in the first place but then I changed it. Some people do not allow e-mails because then e-mails turn into phone calls and then phone calls turn into meeting etc. That process can go on and on.

I allow it but some dont because sometimes when you leave an answer that the questioner doesn't want to hear,they harrass you via the email option.

I allowed it for a few days and got silly emails, nothing serious or worth reading.
I really don't want to hear what you have to say anymore. Sorry, but it's the truth.

Some people don't allow e-mail because they are afraid of harassment by others. However, I have met some great people and have gotten some new friends by allowing e-mail.

I'm not sure what settins i've got on here lol but I'm prone to get tons of junk mail so I delete most of my mail box anyway haha

clogs up my email. I'm sick of guys wanting to get to know me because of their foot fetish (trust me, there was one sicko running around. answer ONE question, and BAM. creepy messages), etc.
just choose a best answer, and write a good note to everyone.
