I live on a farm and am considering to dismantle some of my many un-needed stone walls and to turn around and sell the stones to make a decent profit, but whom can I sell the stones to? Concrete companies, gravel companies, etc?

Landscapers would buy them for their cusomer's projects. I have a cousin who is a landscaper in MI and he drools when he visits my farm which sits on a boulder belt thus we have large rocks and boulders all over the place. He says his company pays $40 a ton for big rocks and boulders.

Landscape centers might also be interested.

look to county museums..... those walls are history.... they may have a 'village' attached to the museum that is an old home and farm type thing where folks can see how it used to be to live.... theymight like having the stones to rebuild a wall like that.... you could even donate them and get something off the taxes, rather than selling them..... I really feel sorry that you are going to dismantle them.... but I guess I understand....

Several outlets stock them. Try Garden Centres, florists, craft shops and tropical fish suppliers. People like to use them in their fish tanks. If no luck there and you are UK they sell them in tourist shops in Cornwall along with shells in some of the tackier tourist shops. No idea why!
