I was on depo for 3yrs. I recently had my last shot in May, (was due again in July). Last week the Dr found HCG in my blood, my breast were getting big and they hurt. But all hpt were neg. anyway I retested and I was at a 2 so they assumed I miscarried. But I've still never even so much as spotted (I haven't bled in years). So Dr's thinks it might help me if I do the provera challenge. To bring on a period so I can build up a viable uterin lining so hopefully I can stay pregnant. I wanted to know can this work and is it a good idea if anyone knows.

I have friends who have had problems with miscarriage but none of them have ever mentioned the Provera challenge to help them with uterine lining.

I have the link to a site that may help you find more information. It's at: http://forums.obgyn.net/pregnancy-birth
