I want to play 'The Witcher' but it need 1 GB RAM (minimum)while my computer only have 512 MB of RAM.The requirement of the game can be refer at http://www.gamespot.com/pc/rpg/thewitcher/tech_info.html?om_act=convert&om_clk=stats&tag=stats;techinfo.For your information,all the minimum requirement I've met except RAM.

If the game requires a minimum of 1Gb, it's not going to work. You only have half the memory they are requiring.

Just try installing it and play it. Some games will work, some won't. I don't know about The Witcher but you can always try a demo or something. If it won't don't bother buying the game.
Just add more RAM, it's REALLY cheap nowadays.

Most likely the game will run, but loading times will be very long and there will be times where the game will start to lag because your computer has no ram left and uses virtual memory.
In a sense the game would be unplayable since alot of the game data will be in virtual memory and run very very slow.

Hi. Go with the recommended minimum and add another 512 RAM. You will not regret it!

the only thing you can really do is to buy more RAM because it could potentially kill your computer. You can but it at all computer shops and most of them should be able to install it for you
