My ex and my current bf of 4 years are friends. Well, my ex mentioned that he missed being friends with me to my bf, as I had wanted to stayed friends because we made better friends. Well, he said that he even got me something for xmas. Now, I wouldn't mind being friends again, i have no dating feelings for him, i would never date him again, he made a terrible bf, but he acts mean towards me. Like says stuff to make me mad cause he knows it will work, especially saying it around my bf when he's on the phone with me to make me think my bf is cheating on me. Its normal for him to act like this but if he wanted to be friends still, why wouldn't he treat me nicer (I don't talk to him mean or anything, i havent actually spoken to him directly in atleast a year). I'm not too concerned or anything, just curious. Serious answers please

It is called passive aggressive behavior. He still wants to be with you, which is why he wants to try to get you mad at your boyfriend. This guy is trouble. Stay away from him.

Dump both and move on! I am serious, they are making fun of you behind your back. One is making bets with another one. I'd put money on it. Girl I am telling you, better take a hard look, guys talk and they talk alot, and GF are the number 1 subject.

he's trying to get a reaction from you,he obviously knows you'll bite or he knows he's annoying you,i would'nt be too worried,he's just playing by the sounds of it,you could try to tell him to stop it,but this may show a reaction & he'll do it all the more,my opinion? i think he's still in love with you.

Why let this stress you out? He have some strong issues. I wouldn't trust him no farther then I can throw him. Who's to say... he maybe trying to break you all up? Leave him out of you all lives.

He is using this to get in where he can cause you problems. You do not need friends that try to ruin your relationships. Get rid of him, he is trouble.
