"The Christmas Song" which is better known to most by it's first line of Chestnuts roasting on an open fire. But only just as long as it's Nat King Cole preforming it. It's been my favorite ever since I was a little kid and Christmas doesn't start for me until I've heard him sing it. It really paints a picture of a Christmas Eve somewhere. Families gathering, enjoying each other's company, a sense of celebration, Chirstmas mass being attended, carolers out spreading cheer, and kids eagerly awaiting Santa. And the way Nat sing's it, his voice so calm and soothing, really brings it all to life.
