If I were an ornament I would like to be something simple - a bright silver ball to reflect the green of the pine boughs and the ornaments around me.
Every year, I would be placed on the tree by a different friend, whichever friend is the first to remind me of the simple joys of the season.
I would hang low on the tree so that small children could look into me and see themselves.
As the years go by, my finish begins to wear, but I hang there as a memory of all the Christmases past, and the tiny fingers which once touched themselves on my surface with a sense of wonder, become bigger and older and touch me for the nostalgia I bring to them. And even though someday I will be so worn that I won't reflect the things around me, I will always be a reflection of the lives I have touched just by being there, year after year.
(Darn, I'm making myself cry now ;)

It would probably be one of those weird ornaments that are make out of blown glass that you don't really know exactly what they are. I would be red and orange with a little black. My grandma would hang me on the tree and I would be hung high up on the tree close to the star, next to the ornament that looks like santa with a Christmas tree for a hat, because that always makes me laugh =D But then my sister's cat would climb the tree and knock me down and I would shatter, and then my grandma would super-glue me back together.

I'd be the family of mice in the teacup, because that has always been my favorite ornament on the family tree. I'd be hung high up on the tree by my two-year-old self (held up by my mom who would be pregnant with my brother at that time) and hung next to the ornament that my parents got on their first Christmas years and years ago.

I would be a star and i would hang on top of the tree..
Its because God wants me to be there and watch on other ornaments , just as if ornaments were humans, i would watch on everyone ...so i think it would be a perfect Goldstarlight ...to Twinkle all all day and night .

I would be a lil pixie, sitting on a silver bauble covered in Glitter.
My daughter would hang me fairly low next to a fairy light so that the light reflects off my shiny surface...
She would spin me round and round and giggle as her reflection blurs!
Years on she will hang me at the top, very carefully, as the first ornanment to adorn her tree, and reminisce about the wonderful christmas' she had as a child. And in the years to come her children and childrens children will do the same!!
I hope :0)

I'd love to be a shiny silver star on the top of the christmas tree because I want to watch the smile on young children's faces as well as their laughter when they open their presents.
The parents would put me at the top of the tree of course.
:)

This is so creative. A PUG!! If I could be an ornament then my dogs could hang me on the tree. They would have to hang me low unless they could use a ladder. Pugs are smart though. (Linus)

I'd be one of those really delicate glass ball's all covered in swirling patterns of glitter. My niece could hang me but I'd like to go near the middle or top of the tree so the cat doesn't try and play with me lol
