You can pass out easier if you are drunk. lol But actually the sleep when you are drunk isn't as restful as sober sleep, and if you overuse alcohol it can mess up your sleep habits.

I sleep better when I am sober. When you are drunk regardless of how much you have to drink you wake up in four hours. Even if you only wake up for a matter of seconds you are disrupting your REM cycle. The REM cycle is very important, it is your deepest sleep and it is when your body repairs itself. If you drink night after night and you never get to the REM cycle it can have a negative effect on your body. You will not get the good sleep/rest your body needs and it may take you a long time to heal, it can even cause you to be sick.

Well that depends. Normally it's hard for me to fall asleep when I'm real drunk because it feels like I'm on an effing boat. But once asleep, I sleep like the dead. Literally.

1. I've never been drunk in my life.
2. When I DO drink it is infrequent
3. It is even rarer that I drink before bedtime and that I drink to "get tired."
So the answer is.. I sleep when I sleep... but my mind keeps me awake a lot.
Everyone is entitled to my opinion.
