How do i solve this ratio problem regarding the sums of numbers that are ratios to eachother.?

The sum of three numbers is 98. the ratio of the first to the second is 2/3, and the ratio of the second to the 3rd is 5/8. What is the second number?

x/y = 2/3
y/z = 5/8
x = 2y/3
z = 8y/5
2y/3 + y + 8y/5 = 98
10y + 15y + 24y = 1,470
49y = 1,470
y = 30

x = 20
z = 48
20 + 30 + 48 = 98
