okay.. even if she was chatting as a friend.. like haven't meet the ex-bf since 7 years ago. so u found out abt it. u know she loves u to death.. will u be angry or break up with her? and u know she doesn't love the ex-bf, but the ex-bf still loves your gf. the question is.. is your gf betraying u of hiding it from u?

I think it depends on the situation. If you've specifically asked that your gf NOT speak to her ex and she does so behind your back then lies about it, yes....that's very wrong. If she chatted with him in a casual way and knew you wouldn't have a problem with it, then it's not a big deal. In general, I think any time you have to HIDE something....then you know it's wrong deep down or you wouldn't hide it in the first place. I would be upset if I was the bf.

No! I e-mail with my ex-boyfriend, and my husband doesn't care! It's strictly out of friendship and nothing else! If it makes you uncomfortable, ask her not to! Just remember, you aren't married to her so she's not obligated to honor your request!
