i heard search engines like yahoo and google are payed a lot of money to help scout out people in china who speak out against the government, and that these people are put in prison for years for just telling the truth. thats really sad
have you heard this? what do you think?

Ok your facts are not completely accurate...

Yahoo just last week participated in Congressional hearings on this matter.

It is true that China censors but Yahoo did not help them seek the ppl out that were trying to bypass the system. All Yahoo did, as any company does when it is doing business in a foreign country, is agree to abide by that country's rules in exchange for being able to do business there.

The Chinese are known to monitor ALL communications into and out of China.

Yahoo/Google scouting for dissidents? I doubt it.
