Extraterrestrial beings gave me some information. What do I do?

i was given some valuable, technically detailed information by beings from a distant galaxy on how to, 1.) develop clean, renewable, & powerful energy sources w/ out the need of a large supporting infrastructure and, 2.) produce clean, consumable water, regardless of how arid & uninhabitable the environment might be. my question is, how do i get the governments & nations of the world to listen & take me seriously on the implementation of this info? it seems these "beings" had taken an interest in our planet because it was once much like theirs (actually, worse - they showed me images) before they managed to save it. they want to help us do the same. any ideas? yeah, i know it all sounds crazy. question it all you want but, it is what it is. if you have no good ideas, please save the responses for those who do. thanks.

who cares about the money? if it'll save the planet & the people that inhabit it, all the better.

thanx for the suggestions, guys. as for mentioning the aliens... that's bound to be discovered anyway once they find out i don't even have a degree in underwater basket weaving, let alone a ph.d in mathematics or physics.

I say you put it in a video, and release it on the Internet, Send it as a hard copy to the United Nation's Marked Urgent, Send one to the President, and one to your congressman. You may want to spread the word here on the Internet first because, the Governments of the world already know about the different races of Aliens and once they find out that someone has been talking to you, you may get a visit by the secret people. There was an agreement with some of the Aliens that they would not interfere unless it appeared that we were going to be destroyed anyway. Anyways, that's what I'd do.
You need to remember that more important than the messenger is the message in this case. So you won't be expecting to get rich off of this, will you? Nor will you use your new found knowledge to enslave us all?

EDIT: Also, I would advise you not telling anyone about the aliens for obvious reasons. You don't want doubt over aliens to dissuade people from taking a serious look at your information. Nor do you want to be paid a visit by the secret people...

put an ad in Mother Earth New and Popular Mechanics and sell the plans for $50 to anybody....eventually, the word will get out and the Big Boys won't be able to stop it
