Hi
You can't make your RAM "go up" unless you purchase more RAM. You can buy RAM from here:
http://www.crucial.com/
The website has tools that will ensure that you choose the right type of memory for your computer. If you want to free some of your RAM, you need to shut down some programs that are running, but uninstalling programs will not help, that will only increase the amount of available space on your hard drive. One way you can free some of your RAM is to go to Start, press Run and type in msconfig. Go to the startup tab and then uncheck any items you don't want to start, and this will decrease some of your startup items. If you are unsure about what to uncheck research the item first. You would be better off buying more RAM though.

How on earth did you get that idea from. Uninstalling progrmas and other stuff from your computer will not inctrease your RAM.Well the way you checked your ram size was correct. However to increase the ram capacity you have to upgrade it by buying some more ram chip. Usually you have two or more slots for the ram to be installed. So you can buy extra ram and insert it into the additional slot, reboot your system and press F1 on prompt. Then check the ram the usual way you do. Your ram would have been upgraded.

in case you replace the no longer easypersistent, then your information should not be leaving your possession. merely load the unique installation disks onto the newpersistent and you'd be finished. in case you flow away the previous no longer easypersistent interior the gadget, then you certainly ought to apply one in all various no longer easypersistent wiping utilities. At a minimum, I propose one that zeros the wholepersistent. For a greater take care of wipe, use one that performs multiple overwrites. this might take fairly some time in case you do the entire take care of wipe and you will ought to flow away it sitting in a nook till the wipe is executed. After the wipe is done, use the installation disks to restoration the gadget to that's unique concern once you got it. in case you elect to destroy the previous no longer easypersistent, then you certainly want the kit to take it aside. interior you will locate greater than a number of very comfortable around discs. Use #60 sandpaper and sand the floor of the two factors of each disc till purely the uninteresting aluminum may be considered. I additionally propose doing the sanding exterior so as that even the airborne dirt and dirt can not be recovered. The electronics and something of the mechanical areas of thepersistent do no longer incorporate any suggestions. you are able to take greater severe measures, yet for the regularly occurring person that's sufficient. If somebody is making an attempt to get well information from a wipedpersistent, then you certainly may be incredibly advantageous they're additionally getting info from different supplies and you're in deep do-do or you have extremely understated your risk-free practices desires. The properties that you looked at is what is built into your computer - that doesn't change until you actually physically change parts in your computer. RAM is only temporary memory, stuff there gets cleared away when you turn off your computer. To see how much memory your hard drives are using, open My Computer and then right-click on one of your actual hard drives, and go to Properties. It should even have a pie-chart of used and unused memory space.

Ram only goes up when you add more. RAM means random access memory, which allows your computer to run large programs/multiple programs at once. When you delete stuff on your hard drive it is just making space on a different kind of memory, ROM, read only memory. You need to upgrade your memory card, or maybe close some programs in your icon tray, or startup menu.

You only free up some disk space when u uninstall program but not RAM (memory).
To increase the size of RAM, u need to buy from computer shop and install it into your PC.

although deleting files will increase the available amount of free disk space, the only possible thing you can do to increase memory would be to increase the virtual memory limits. typically this is set to 1.5x the amount of physical memory you have. You may also want to adjust your services in order to free up what physical memory you do have at the moment...

You only gain RAM by installing MORE.
Deleting from ADD/REMOVE Programs only frees up hard drive space NO MORE NO LESS.
So if you expect to gain more ram you will have to buy it and install it.
