The show America's Funniest Videos. The video was of an older gentleman 50+, setting at the right side with a water hose, spraying a little girl aged about 2-3. She had nothing on. The only area shaded was the pubic area. Everything else, backside and all, was there for the whole world to see. In these days, with child pornography, pedophiles and such, I feel the segment shouldn't have been aired. If the child had on a diaper, undies, something, it would have been different. Some videos are not meant for all the world to gawk at. Is there something wrong with me? What is your opinion?

I sent an email to the TV station, stating my opinion, while the show was still airing. Wanted to get this in before I get any replies or violation notice. They don't reply to any emails, only read them, was their disclaimer but yet they can use what I wrote in the email in the future.

abcfamily.com is the website and the show is America's Funniest Videos. It was airing at 11:00-midnight, Central Time, I believe. The same show had a boy who had a long plastic sword stuck down the front of his diaper and a guy who poured water down a funnel on a lady's shirt, made her look like she wet her pants.

i thought it was amazing ! i absolutly loved the show. i reallly like ricky, i couldn't help but feel bad for him. i'm not too sure about ben though. he seems like a nice kid but something seems strange about him. adrian is out of the question, i cannot stand that girl. i think that grace & jack, the christians are reallly funny and i like them. amys sister seems a little hardcore but overalll a nice girl. her parents seem to be on the right track too but i guess in the next episode the dad leaves ? and for amy, some people think shes rediculous and the teeen it was disturbing, but i reallly like her. she seems so innocent, yet she obviously has a huge secret. i couldnt imagine being in her place. i think people are judging too quickly from the first episode. i reallly can't wait for the next episode. i'm like counting down the days. my friends think i'm obsesssive. secret life of an american teenager is a good show with a great lesson & meaning. giveee it a chance.

When are we going to make the Networks responsible for what they air. If we as a group stop watching things that are harmful to all of us in some way, the message will get across sooner than later. I have a choice on what I watch, and if it comes to the point that there is nothing good to watch, I guess I will read or listen to the radio. We need to make all people accountable for their actions, and especially if Innocent children are involved.

Seems nothings sacred nowadays. What stupid exec on this show decided this was appropriate? You are quite right. They ought to be ashamed of themselves. I'll add that this is cute on video for the families of the kid but not for the world to gawk at. Pity its come to this. Child porn etc. Sick people out there.

I agree with you. Even the most innocent activities can no longer be seen as innocent. It's a shame, but these days, to protect the little ones, we must at all times try to think like a pedophile. I wish I could lock them all up. ... sorry bast*rds.

Oh, please.
Now we are going to arrest people for taking pictures of their little ones naked.
Good Grief!
Not everyone who sees a naked child is a pedophile.....

Since we all know MONEY is the determiner of these shows, do you think they were pandering to a certain segment?
I'm glad you emailed them. Next if you can email their sponsors would be the real answer.
The sponsors are very touchy about their image especially since it is a family program.

I agree with you. I think it was in poor taste. Think of what the sickos out there are thinking when they see something like that on TV? Is it enough to get them excited and out on the streets? You never know until it is too late.
You should email the program and mention it to them too. It won't hurt and you could save someone.
