hi... so i dont know about ur computors but mine has 2 disks
one is local disk C: and the other is local disk D:
C: has the operating system on it and D: is where i put all of my files... but i have a problem
sometimes when i download things and it automatically saves itself (when it DOESNT say ' save file to______ ' ) it saves itself to C:.well my C: disk it only 8 Gigs and it is completely full is there any way to switch places of the disks so the C: is secondary and the D: is the primary one or the first one where everything automatically saves to.

please help
and if u can help please explain every detail on what to do
im completely computer illiterate
so any help is good if this can even be done

You need to change where your files get saved to for each application separately sadly. To change the location of where files are saved you need to go into the settings or preferences of the application and change where the files save to.

No C:/ is the primary drive for all Disk Operating Systems.
D:/ is normally a patitioned drive which is really the same drive that has alocated a portion of the same drive for storage. If your C:/ is full you need to go in and transfer items from C to D to gain more space.
In some cases the letters that are used are prefixed and in other cases it will let you choose the letter you want to use.
